A big thank you to everybody that turned up and helped with the beach clean and litter pick on Saturday 14th April 2014, We had approximately 35-40 enthusiastic local residents who gave up their free time, to clean Hooe Lake foreshore, Radford Lake, the Quarry and Radford Park of litter and junk. There was a great community spirit and two truck loads of rubbish were taken away by Plymouth City Council, a great effort. Thanks too goes to PCC staff and also our local Police Community Support Office Tracy Cunningham who stumbled upon our activities and mucked in, literally!
On behalf of Radford Park Arboretum, may I say a great thank-you to allthosewho turned out to make such a wonderful effort. I am sorry that due to family commitments I was unable to help.
Thank you once again.
A big thank you to all of you who gave up your time to make Hooe lake area a cleaner and more pleasant place to visit.I live locally and occasionally walk my dog where you had your clean up. Unfortunately for me I work 6 days a week and coach youth rugby on my day off so don’t have any free time to help ! so I would just like to say again a BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS ! keep up the good work it is appreciated !
What fab work you all did! If I lived there I would have come, definitely. Lovely to see the area being maintained; my ancestors would be very proud of you.
